In a recent copy of "Esquire" an interview was published with Laird Hamilton, a 47-year-old pro surfer from Hawaii.
It put the hook in me, especially when reading the final lines:
"I've never felt stronger, never felt better in shape, never felt more focused, never felt more experienced.
There are strong young guys.
But there is nothing meaner en more experienced than a fifty year old tough guy.....!"
In my case this should read: "........fifty two year old tough guy...!"
We old tough guys really look for the challenge in anything and never miss a chance when beating these younger "tough guys" ha! ha!
